Show Student Affairs sorosis Parly The party given by the Sorosis Society in the gymnasium on the evening of March 16 added one more item to the society’s long list of successes in the line of entertainment at their annual halls It was the intention of the girls to give a real College party and their efforts were rewarded by the enjoyment of their guests In every way the evening was thoroughly “L A C” The hare old gymnasium was converted into a most attractive dancing room with decorations of crepe aper in College colors hung umbrella-wis- e from the center of the ceiling The music was more effective from the elevated position of the orchestra in the corner and potted plants used to hank the platform made it a very pretty place I Jet ween waltzes and two-stethe dancers found their way to the southwest part of the room where from a corner hung with college pennants and lighted with candles in candelabra sherbet with wafers and tiny sticks of blue and white candy appeared and disappeared Those who were ‘tired of dancing found cozy corners in the hall leading from the gymnasium which ps was arranged as a drawing-roo- m or in the Sorosis and Doso rooms opening into the hall |
