the Chamber and Concert Choirs The choirs under the direction of Jay Andrus and the band under the direction of Derral Siggard will feature a wide variety of music including some favorite Christmas Carols A highlight of the program will be a number by the Chamber Choir and the fourth graders from the Price Elementary School The audience for this traditional concert has been growing each year It participation categories as well as out running the other competitors in the race with the torch It was the faculty team however that added the spice of excitement to the run as Curt Jenson anchor racer for the team became the first CEU runner to get lost in the darkness of Wood hill after he lost the light from his torch which he claims was sabotaged Tuesday’s activities gave the Freshmen a chance to make a better showing In the various contests in the gym the Freshmen class came out on top in the participation category The Sophomore class however gained mor s v rits toward the overall students pertaining to scholarships registration and employment Basic Grants available The Financial Aid office wants students to know that it is not too late to apply for a Basic Grant A student may be eligible for as much as $1000 to help finance his or her education Applications and more information are available in this office and help wUl be given in filling out an application Advance Registration Set The week of December 6 to 10 has been scheduled for advance registration for Winter quarter by the office of Admissions and Records Students may officially register for classes at any time during the week and avoid the possibility of filled classes at the January 3 final registration A trial registration must be filled out and signed by the studnet’s academic advisor before class cards can be pulled Class schedules are now available in the campus Bookstore Payroll Schedule Changed Students on hourly and workstudy employment at the college and their supervisors should be aware that the payrolls will be run twice a month starting December 1 1976 according to Ted Jensen Dean of Administrative Services The schedule for the first half period (lst-15twill require time cards due on the 16th and pay checks will be issued on the 25th For the second half period (16th to end of month) time cards are due on the morning of the 1st of the following month and pay checks will be
