polka dot cheerleader costume of the gay nineties vintage ‘Miss Nedra Thomas made her first public appearance before the Carbon student body when she served as cheerleader for the faculty section Just two years ago Miss Thomas was a student at Carbon College and this year die began a teaching career at her old Alma Mater ‘It seems strange" she remarked "to be teaching kids I used to tend when they wcie young" As a student at Carbon she was active in all school affairs She was a member of the Pi Gams Eaglettes Phi Rho Pi and was secretary of the Sophomore Class During high schol and college Miss Thomas was very active In all speech activities and in her sophomore year she served as of Homecoming Upon graduating here she attended Fresno State College at Fresno California for one year after which she returned to Utah to enroll at the BYU where she majored in home economics A native of Spring Glen she is active in civic and church affairs She is a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and serves as Stake Jr Gleaner Leader of the North Carbon Stake Her favorite food is spaghetti and foreign foods of any type Her favorite pastime is trying foreign recipes an Students to Represent Carbon
