(Continued from page 1) Whenever obstacles are met "we may have to be satisfied if we can sink the drill 10 feet a day, the driller remarked. He said that in drilling oil wells as in everything else one must take into consideration bpth good and bad luck, and be prepared to cope with the situation under all circumstances. With extra favorable conditions well No. 1 should be nearing completion from 30 to 40 days, and even with delays unforeseen at this time the main oil sand should be reached from 6C to 100 days Indications of oil are in evidence all over the valley. Besides high-grad- e oil shale croppings, a culinary water well dug on the location has a continued seepage of oil into it, and the seepage of oil Las to be bailed out each time water is taken out for culinary purposes. This should be a good in dication in itself that there is oil in White Valley. The oil seepage is coming from some underground reservoir and finding its way through crevises into the well. "Here we are a state with greatest natural resources of any spot in the nation and the youth of Utah are compelled to leave the state to look for their opportunities and life work. This condition must be changed and the way to change it is to develop our rich resources to the glory, honor and benefit of Utah people. "I hope and pray for the unbounded success of this great undertaking. It will mean a new era of prosperity and growth of Utah.
