The Utah legislature needs men of his caliber in both branches of our body. . . . The teachers aim to assist in helping women make good use of material or used clothing given to them. .Work in remodeling is going on all the time in all of these schools, but each teacher has special work which she expects to carry out in the near fu- ture. Maternity gowns and baby layettes are being made at the Lincoln school; the alteration of patterns to fit different sized children is being taught at Roosevelt; spring house dresses are being made at the Jordan high; rug making is going on at the Horace Mann; at the Bryant they are making boys' and mens shirts and crocheting novelties of all kinds. In the near future spring suits and coats will be started with special emphasis laid on the fit and tailored finish of the garments. Music Classes Last Monday night at the Irving adult night school opened a new elementary class in piano embodying the kinesthetic teachnique of the virtuoso Rubinstein as perpetuated by Madam Careno, the great Spanish pianist, and Leslie Houghson.
