League State Committee Meets Sunday Non-Partis- an The executive committee of the Labors League of Utah will meet at the Newhouse hotel, Salt Lake City, Sunday, December 20, at 2 p. m. Legislative problems, and permanent county and local organizations of the League will be among the most important matters which will be presented for consideration at this meeting. Frank Bonacci of Helper, presi dent of the Utah League, who was in Salt Lake City Friday, said that workers and farmers, both organ ized and unorganized, must consolidate their efforts for political un ity by affiliation and active parti cipation in the affairs of Labors League. November 3 election demonstrated to us what can be accomp said lished with united effort, Mr. Bonacci. Now that we have accomplished victories, and devel oped a splendid organization it is up to all of us to put our shoulders to the wheel and continue organ- Non-Partis- Non-Partis- . an an izing on a permanent basis so that we may be prepared in the future to meet any emergencies which may arise. Team Work M. I. Thompson, secretary of the Utah League, said: By all means, the League must perfect a permanent organization in every county in this state. The fine team work accomplished by active League members throughout Utah during the recent campaign demonstrated beyond any shadow of doubt what can be done when we work together. Now that we have gained our first objective, the reelection of President Roosevelt, we must not lie down and go to sleep. We have plenty of work to do. Our duty now is to continue the League activities to the end that we may cooperate in the legislative field and bring into actual existence the New Deal program as set forth in the national and state platforms upon which the New Deal nominees were elected into office.
