I oppose the so called Gateway Amendment . One of the reasons for the breakdown of law and order in this country is the laxity which prevails in our court system. Legislators, both state and national must bring pressure to bear on lenient judges. Its not going to do us any good to pass more laws against crime if these laws are going to be ignored by our courts. As a school teacher and parent, I have come to two basic conclusions in the area of cduca-- .
