At that moment, a wave of protests and hatred directed toward the Church and its related institutions began to erupt. - SKOUSEN ANALYZES COMMUNIST ARTICLE (l) Shortly after this article appeared, W. Cleon Skousen, former FBI agent, expert in the analysis of Communist strategy and tactics, and author of many publications related to this field, stated: upon as the Vanguard" or tactical leaders in the fight against the open society of the United States. Communist signals are therefore acg cepted by the entire cadre of collectivists as the logical targets for a united attack. The Communists refer to this large group of left-win- Ft. The Communist Party has apparently decided to take over the leadership of this agitation and give it financial and institutional support. If the pattern follows past incidents of this kind, we may expect to see the legitimate press, radio and TV begin a whole series of reports on all types of subjects related to the LDS Church. It will be explained that the LDS Church has LDS Church so-call- ed W. Cleon Skousen Anyone familiar with Communist tactics will recognize that this is no ordinary article. It is a signal to the Communist transmission belt to go to work. There are people strategically placed in the bulk of the opinion-moldin- g facilities of the United States who watch for signals like this in the Communist press. The Communists are looked suddenly become news." All of these reports" will be handled in a way which makes the Church look racist, rich, and conservative to the point of being archaically re- priest-ridde- n, super-authoritari- an Communist Front Groups Lead Protests revolutionary been have spearheading the groups wave of protests and violence directed toward Brigham Young University and the Mormon Church, With Marxism and Maoism as their ideological base and terror tactics as their method, they have inflamed some and forced others to join in their revolutionary, violent movement. Dubois Clubs, Student Liberation Fronts (SLP), and the Youth International Party (YIP or Yippies). J. Mr. Hoover has succinctly defined the Communist front groups mentioned above. His testimony leaves no room for doubt regarding their true nature. They are not just youngsters on a spree. They are revolutionaries with Marxism and Maoism as their ideology, destruction and violence as their method, and the overthrow of America as their objective. The majority of the news media has failed to present the facts about these groups to the American people. Mr. Hoovers revealing testimony is found in the inset on page three. Mistakenly the reported by press as the Black Power Salute," this symbol has a drome of incidents which have an overwhelming impact on the thinking of the American people. This technique has been used successfully for fifty years. This type of massive propaganda assault is designed to distort public thinking to the point where it paralyzes the effectiveness of the organization under attack. In fact, the object is not merely to discredit the victim but create an atmosphere of deep resentment or even hatred to- Seattle Albuquerque -- ' analysis of the Communist directive proved amazingly accurate. The Church suddenly became news. Articles appeared in publications all over the country. While some of these were favorable to the Church and some merely reported the events, others were cunningly contrived pieces of diabolical propaganda designed to create resentment toward the Church and lend impetus to the attack upon Communists know that they can never impose their political and economic power structure upon America while the people have faith in God and in the Constitution. ATHLETIC EVENTS VEHICLE FOR ATTACK NEGRO ISSUE A SMOKESCREEN issue means The absolutely nothing to the Communists or to the protestors. How could it? They dont even know what it is! This entire attack is but a vehicle to further their ulterior objectives. ATTACK TWO PRONGED By attacking the Mormon Church, the Communists plan to further two of their objectives. They are: 1. To create resentment and hatred between the races by distorting the religious tenet of the Church regarding the negro and blowing it up to ridiculous proportions. Polarizing the races and creating friction between them has been one of their prime pieces of strategy since as far back as 1928, when their plan was outlined in a Communist manual by negro-priestho- od John Pepper. See Civil Rights - Tool of Communist Deception, by Elder Ezra Taft Benson. (4) To weaken or destroy, one by element that one, any might prove an obstacle to their God-les- s idealogy and their revolution, both political and violent. 2. pro-Americ- an MORMON CHURCH STRONGLY PRO-AMERICA- N THIS IS THE REAL REASON the Communists and their sympathizers have selected the Mormon Church as one of their prime TARGETS FOR ATTACK. The doctrine of the Church - sociological - economic and political - is the antithesis to the doctrine of Communism. The -- Because of the publicity that naturally attends all major athletic events, the Communists zeroed in on them to use as a vehicle by which to launch their attack against the Church and its related institutions. TERRORIZE STUDENTS To launch their attack, the revolutionaries are using terror tactics on both students and athletes to eliminate resistance to their protests and force still others to give apparent support. At the U of W, Seattle, for example, one coed was beaten se- verely and seriously injured. TACTICS USED BLACK ATHLETES ON MAU-MA- U When the National Collegiate Athletic Association investigated some of the protests, they discovered that tactics were being used by the organizers to force the athletes into submission. This reveals not only the depth and seriousness of this conspiratorial movement, but the extremes to which they will go in order to make use of the unfortunate or to destroy an Mau-Mau-ty- pe enemy. GRATEFUL TO NCAA All athletic fans, all athletes, all Americans, and especially, all mem- bers of the Mormon Church can be grateful to the NCAA for their investigation and honest reporting. Their report follows. Read it carefully. It tells the REAL NAME OF THE GAME. (NRG report of campus protests continues on page four.) . |
