The formula is based on voting members only. Associate members do not count in determining the number of voting delegates for a county. The county is responsible for determing who is and who is not a i voting member. Most counties have arrived at a decision that the basis of voting membership is the operation of a farm. Other factors often enter in, but it is up to the county. Each organized county automatically receives three voting delegates with one additional for each 150 voting members or major portion thereof.
