Show Page 6 UTAH FARM BUREAU Annual Banquet, held this year at the Terrace, served nearly 800 people. Banquet speaker was Charles B. Shuman, AFBF President. The large display cake, seen in the Hotel Newhouse lobby, was decorated by the Salt Lake County FB Women's Committee. A real birthday cake, prepared by the Cache County Women's Committee, was lit during special banquet ceremony. 1967 Anniversary Issue NEWS Mrs. Frank G. Shelley, wife of the late UFB Executive Secretary, received the Distinguished Service Award. Presented for service to Utah Agriculture rendered by she and her husband for more than two decades. Recipients of membership activity awards at annual breakfast. immediate past UFB President was presented on award for outstanding serviceon the AFBF Board of Directors and Executive Committee, by Charles Shuman, AFBF President. Mr. Smoot also received an award from the AFBF Western Region. A. V. Smoot, Farm Bureau display, built for State Fair, was shown during Don Talent Find Finals involved eleven performers from Sevier County to Box Elder County.
