The city councilor Irovo City, Utah, hereby gives notice that the said city council will receive sealed proposals for the constructing of cement curbing and guttering in Curbing and Gutterfour thousing District No. 1, and seven hundred eighty-si(4780) feet thereof, said district being heretofore created and established by ordinance of the city council of Provo City and duly approved and published and now in force. All of the said curbing and guttering shall be performed in strict conformity with the specifications prepared for that purpose by K. A. Jacobs, city engineer, adopted by the city 0011011 and now on file in the otlices of both the city engineer and city recorder and are hereby referred to and made a part hereof. Work of said construction shall be completed not later that the 1st day of November, A. I). 1908. Contract and bond may be seen and examined upon application to the city engineer or city recorder of Provo City at their respective offices in Provo City. Full payment for all of the said work (except the city's proportion) will be made in special tax w arrants of the city Issued against the funds created by the local assessment upon the property abutting ujion the said improvement, under the provisions of Title l:i, Chapter 16, Compiled Law s of Utah, 1907, which the contractor shall accept at not less than their pur or face value. A cei tilled check for the sum of one hundred (100.00) dollars as an evidence of good faith must accompany each bid, which check will be returned to the bidder upon signing of contract or refusal of bid. All proposals must lie be (lied with the city recorder of Provo City, Utah, not later than Tuesday; the 8th day of September, A. D., 1908, at 8 oclock p. in., llial being the time and pluce when the city council will meet and consider the said proposals, The city council reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
