If a steer is not qulto right, either as to quality or condition, but still possesses to a marked degrco tho characteristics most sought by packers, shippers and exporters, he Is called a choice steer To be a choice steer cannot be much short of prime either as to quality or condition; tn other words, It takes outstanding out-standing quality and condition In bullock to grade as choice. As the term Indicates, he is choice, yet falls short of the finish and quality characteristics char-acteristics of a prime bullock.
