After praor Miss Belie Monuhaii gave a beautiful piano solo. Miss Mud May Babcock of tho Stalg University, tho well known elocutionist, was then Introduced. Intro-duced. Miss Babcock commenced by a short talk lu which she expressed nor pleasure nt again meeting her friends at the academy, and branched off lno a talk on literature generally nnd particularly commending thu stylo and Ideas of Browning, whom sho denominated denomi-nated as the greatest poet of tho ago. Shu then gavo n recitation from thlfl author, followed by a character sketch from Wliitcconib Blloy, which was rendered ren-dered in her own Inlmitablo man ner. Mrs. Frank Ilamsoy remtereu a soprano solo, followed again by Miss Babcock, wlio recited two selections from Browning, two fivm Mrs. Brown-lug Brown-lug and ono from Wbltecomb Riley. Miss Alice Foster of Salt Lako sang a contralto solo, nnd Miss Babcock ro-cltod ro-cltod "Tho Knight and tlio Lady" by Browing, and an extract fioin Dick-en's Dick-en's "Nicholas Nickleby."
