That was the day most of us met, in airports all around the world, and convened in Madrid to begin what has been termed "the craziest, best and most amazing semester ever." Looking back has been incredibly emotional and painful for me, but that's because I'm stubbornly wishing I was going back to Granada. It's weird how much a place can affect you, and we're all experiencing it to some degree. It's emotionally jarring, but also weirdly magical, and that's a combination everyone needs to understand. So, without further ado, here are the top five reasons everyone — and I do mean everyone — should live in a foreign country. As much as it hurts to remember the memories instead of experience them all over again, going abroad was the best decision in my life to date. I've never loved anywhere as much as I loved Granada, and that's the truth. Everything — from the food to the language to the culture to the people — was just better. And I think I miss that most of all. Te echo de menos, Granada.
