B H. H Roberts of this city Judge W. W H. H Smith and perhaps Gov West have been added to the list Students in attendance at a university are on account of the academic atmosphere atmosphere atmosphere atmos atmos- phere by which they are surrounded about the most critical class of people that a person can address They can easily detect the speaker who occupies his h is whole time time in indulging in fanciful allusions and poetic imagery from the theone theone theone one who gives us good sound logic and teaching whose address contains some meat and though not lacking in mag mag- they seldom fail to give a cold shoulder to the first class of speakers II All All men said Cicero are are eloquent in that which they understand and if this be true the speaker who is thoroughly thoroughly thoroughly thor thor- conversant with his subject will have no regrets to make even if he lacks some of the finer graces of oratory But happily both eloquence and thorough understanding of their subjects are are peculiarly combined in the men who are areto areto areto to address us so we may all expect a rare treat this winter The students should meet Mr Coray way half-way in this matter All that is necessary is to turn turnout turnout turnout out en ell masse and give the men who have so kindly consented to undergo disadvantages disadvantages disadvantages for our sake a most hearty reception |
