Rob Schissler at 134 pounds and Bruce Carnes at 142 also picked up victories for the Redskins. Mike Ptaschinski at 150 completed the Ute sweep of the first five matches by decisioning his man. The Utes lost three straight at 158, 167, and 177 before Savage got his pin. In the heavyweight match Utah's Kurt Bellock won by forfeit. This week the Utes host two of the top five wrestling teams in dual meets. Wednesday Oregon St. will be in town, while Friday the matmen will welcome Washington. |
