He will be named Kenneth James. Marda Winkler flew from Vernal to St George to be with herdaugh- - Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Gilbert recently visited with hie brothers and their families, LeGrande Gilbert of Arcadia, and Howard Gilbert of Roosevelt The Gilberts are former Roosevelt residents and are now living in Otto, North Carolina. While here, the Gilberts also visited with Mrs. Merle Ross. Howard Gilbert flew to Oklahoma recently to attend the wedding of his nephew Kelly. Kelly is the son of Bryant Gilbert. Last Saturday, Doyle Lloyd's son and his wife, Jeff and Mary, traveled from Salt Lake City to visit with his father and his wife, his grandmother, Zelma Lloyd and his brother Chris. They returned to Salt Lake City on Sunday. Sewing Club members: Ellen Rawlings, Betty Gilbert, Delight Andrews, DonnaBuchanan, Velma Frandsen, Rebecca Smith, Lurrine Alexander, Grace Hullinger and Flora Allred went to Provorecently. They all enjoyed a luncheon with former Sewing Club members Nadine Berrett and Margie Harrison. Both Mrs. Berrett and Mrs. Harrison areformer Roosevelt residents. On October 14, Dearwyn and Burke Eldredge drove to Salt Lake where Burke had a medical checkup. They returned home on Saturday. Dr. Kenneth and Linda Lamb and daughters, Emily and Katie, visited with Rex and LaRue Lamb recently. While in Utah, Emily celebrated her birthday. On October 14, several family members had dinner at Falcons Ledge Lodge. LaRue Lamb accompanied Ken and His family to Salt Lake City where Dr. Lamb attended a Medical Convention at the Salt Palace. On Trudy Duncan traveled to Salt Lake to join her relatives for lunch before the Kenneth Lambs returned to their home in Rohmert, California. Merle Ross and Wanda Reynolds traveled to Provo on October 15, and went through a session at the Provo Temple. Pearl Labrum, her daughter-in-law Eva and Granddaughters, Sandi and Brandi flew from Salt Lake on Tuesday, October 12, to Seatle, Wash., and Vancouver and. Victoria, Canada. After s couple of days sightseeing; they returned to Salt Lake where they stayed at Brandi Labrums residence overnight. They returned to Roosevelt on Friday. The Rawlings were in Denver for three days. Tracy and Bonnie Ross and young daughter were in Roosevelt over the weekend visiting their parents and families. Scott and Leah Anne Stephensons first baby! Chad drove to Ephraim Sunday morning where he attended church with Mindy at Snow College. He continued on to St George to greet his new granddaughter, Alexia. He then continued on to San Diego to deliver Kristens car then flew back to St. George. Grandparents, Chad and Marda will return from St George Saturday, October 23. Paula Jenkins is doing her student teaching block as part ofher completion of a degree in Elementary Education at the Altamont Elementary School this quarter. The Double J Ranch owners, Howard, Fontella, Gary and Paula Fontella Jenkins drove to Errol Nelson and sons Blake and parents the Max Nelsons two days at the opening of elk season. Ina Lee and AD Shaw from West Valley City came home for the weekend ofUEA. They did some clean up work around their cabin. The time of use is approximately December 15 through June 15 and August 28 through October 12. Shewn Labrum of the Uinta Range Guide Servicahas requested hia application be considered for 20 service days on the Roosevelt and 5 service days on South Unit of the Duchesne Districts. Days considered for the Roosevelt District may be issued as priority use pending further analysis. None of thehunts will be within the High Uintas Wilderness. While there they visited in Lanchaster, Pennsylvania, and participated at the baptism for 8 year-ol- d Mallory who was baptized by her father Dug, and confirmed by her grandfather Bill Hoopes. The Hoopes made a 1200 mile trip by plana which took fourhours. Mike is from . Roosevelt and has employment in Pennsylvania and living with Dug and lisa.
