December 10 Mr. and Mrs. Keith The new home of Ted and Gayle Nelson in Clinton was the scene of a special Thanksgiving day for the family of Mr. and Mrs. Max Nelson. The first holiday when all the children could gather in over nine years. Mr. and Mrs. Max Nelson, son randy, daughter Penny and son motored to Clinton Wednesday where Turkey Ham and all the trimmings were prepared for sons, Ted and gayle and 3 sons, Larry and LaRae and 3 children, Logan, Eric and JoAnn and daughter Roosevelt, Errol, Ogden, Randy Roosevelt, daughters, Ina Lee and A. D. Shaw and 5 children, Granger. Karen and Wayne Brown and 7 children. Helper . Cherl and Dale Womack and 4 children, Neola, Penny and son Roosevelt. Forty one in all. Family pictures were taken. Mr. and Mrs. Arvln Bellon entertained at Thanksgiving dinner for local family members and a friend Jack Coleman from Mesa Arlz., Mr. and Mrs. John Gilbert, Tenna Gibbons from Provo Approximately thirty enjoyed the day. Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Freston left the forepart of November to spend an indefinite time in Arizona with their daughter Norma Rae and family. Mrs. Ethel Freston spent a week in Clearfield with her mother, Mrs. Agnes Mitchell and other relatives. They then went to the home of Georgina Costuros where President Alice DeLay conducted the regular meeting with 16 members present. Virginia Monks gave the lesson on "The Legend of La Bafina." Christmas gifts were exchanged and toys, jam and jellies were brought for the Shrlner Children Hospital. Delicious refreshments were served by Mrs. Cos- turos. The January meeting will be held at the home of Carol Cloud with Hildur Brooks as Personal shower given for Margaret Reidhcad Tuesday Margaret Reldhead was honored at a personal shower at the Doyle Lloyd residence Tuesday, Nov. 27. Mrs. Doyle Lloyd and Mrs. Dan Christensen were the hostesss. Mrs. Christensen and Debra Lloyd were in charge of the serving and Mrs. Lloyd was in charge of the gifts. An enjoyable afternoon was spfnt playing games. and Mrs. Bry Roberts. The following day Etheleen and Richard Potter left for Virginia for Richards next assignment of duty with the army. Mrs. Maurlne Bellon entertained for her soi Greg's sixth birthday Tuesday. Several little kindergarten friends enjoyed fun and lunch and a special cut up cake made like a bear. Wen day and Brownie Tomlinson and son of Clearfield, Jim and Duane Freston and daughter and Edward Freston from Logan, Connie from Weber were all Thanksgiving dinner company at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Brooks along with other local members of the Freston family. Karen and Wayne Brown and children from Helper spent the weekend with her parents, the Max Kelsons. They came to attend a delayed Thanksgiving with Waynes parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Brown and other family members. Present were Leslie and Sheryl Brown and boys, Enid and Henry Lldlster and family from Bountiful. Miss Sherrol Rasmussen went to Salt Lake to attend the Centenlal Ball at the Salt Palace. She was a house guest at the home of Mrs. Sharron Dustin. George Thatcher and President Arvln Bellon took sixteen boys on an overnight camping trip down to the Green River. They were worklngon some advancement achievements. A delicious lunch was served to 12 members after which everyone played Bingo.
