The family and relatives gathered at the park for apotluck lunch then they received guests from 3 to 6 p.m. The children presented their parents with a beautiful gold and white cake made by Sarah Kettle and her mother, Mrs. Charles Rlchens. The bridegroom graduated from Altamont high school, majored in engineering at BYU and Is currently stationed at Travis AFB, Calif., where he Is a regular commissioned offne organized now to Gregg Oaks Mr. and Mrs. Clark B. Abegglen, Myton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Vicki, to Cregg L. Oaks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Oaks, Vernal. Miss Abegglen graduated from Union high school with the class of 68 where she was an honor graduate and received two scholarships. She was active In pep club and was a four year Seminary graduate. She attended college classes during the summer at Utah State University and plans to continue them In the fkiture. Her fiance graduated from Uintah high school with the class of 66. He was active In sports and was a three year Seminary graduate. He Is a member of the Utah National Guard. He also Is attending College classes at USU where he plans to be a high school teacher.
