Action was fast last week, as another track record was set for fastest speed. CAREFUL THERE Ernie Hadlock and Carl Gunn battle it out on the turn for position in the trophy dash last week at Prairie Dog Speedway. Richard Wymer won the race. All drivers are COMPETITION pushing for points as the season moves on toward the close. with 7 Ray Hardinger coming in second and 65 Rod Clark taking third. 14 Steve Hale came in first in the sportsman with News From 27 Butch Preston taking second and Winning the Main races were in the Hobby class, 55 Richard Wymer with 5, Randy Bywater taking second and 4 Ernie Hadlock coming in third. In the modified, 65 Rod Clark took first, 7 Ray Hardinger took second and 6 Marvin Capp took third. The sportsman main was next with 14 Steve Hale taking first, 76 Marvin Saloga took second and 27 Butch preston took third. In the sprint main, 8 Kris Hendricks took first, 16 Richard Stoddard taking second and 40 Karl Schools coming in third. 1 Brett Hendricks taking third. In the spring 8 Kris Hendricks took first, 40 Karl Schoffs took second and 32 David Fitzgerald took third. The fast heats were next and winning the Hobby was 55 Richard Wymer, 5 Randy Bywater taking second and 4 Ernie Hadlock came in third. In the .modified 40 Duane Humphries took first Driving 7 Elmer Sparing won the first and 40 whose name was not available won the second race. And that was the race results for last week. Our very own Prairie Dog Speedway was the place to be Saturday evening as again we had some mighty fine racing action and a special attraction featuring the cute little sprint cars. The fans sure appreciate these fast little cars and we do hope they keep coming back. All I can say for this week is that we really had some good close races and even a few connections with the cement walL As I said before these guys sure put on a show for the spectators. Winning the Hobby Trophy Dash was 55 Richard Wymer with 40 Duane Humphries winning the modified trophy dash, 14 Steve Hale took the sports trophy dash, and 8 Kris Hendricks took the trophy in the sprint class.
