Pace I Mr and Mrs. Monroe' Michie and children visited in Provo with Mr. and Mrs. Phil Harmon and also attended conference in Salt Lake City during the weekend of general conference. They also attended the Mexican Missionary reunion. William G. Michie visited with a daughter, Mrs. Erma Olsen, in Heber City. Rex Michie writes home that he has never been ill a single day since he went on his mission. Joe and Ed Curry, Ted Wilcken and Larry all made a business trip to' Myton and Duchesne Saturday. HAVE GRAND TRIP The seniors of the Tabiona High School returned home Monday night of this week, a tired but the happy bunch. Those making De-ftrip from Hanna were Carole Marilyn Lee, Mark Michie, Bobby Pace and Max Giles. Mr. and Mrs. Ferrus Giles accompanied them and furnished their car for Speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday evening were Mrs. Pearl Turnbow and Mrs. Blanche Defa of Hanna and Joseph Thompson of the Tabiona ward. Mrs. Bertha Allred of Tooele is visiting at the home of the Ray Hacketts for several days. Irene Rhoades, Mrs. Deone Webb Elaine Ethel Clegg, Johnson, and Crystal Wilcken attended the Bake Off held in Myton last Saturday for hot lunch workers and representatives of the Relief Societies. ' Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wilcken, Sr. visited in Hanna Monday of this week.. Mrs. Dena Wilcken returned home with her new baby son on Tuesday, of last week. Mrs. Lorin Allred and new baby daughter of Heber, visited at the Leo S. Defa home last week for a few days. Other weekend visitors at the Defa home were Lorin Allred and Mr. and Mrs. DeLyle Giles. Mr. and Mrs. Alfonzo Defa and Mr. and Mrs. Leo S. Defa, DaVon-n- a and Larry all made a trip to Salt Lake City Monday of this week, where they purchased a new truck and attended other business. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smith made a business trip to Roosevelt on Thursday of last week. Mr. and' Mrs. Frank T. Defa made a business trip to Roosevelt Saturday, where Mrs. Defa received dental attention. Mr. and Mrs. Art Fabrizio and children made a trip to Salt Lake City on Thursday of last week, where Mrs. Fabrizio received medical attention. Mrs. Vivian Curry and Mrs. Jean Fabrizio made a trip to Roosevelt. Wednesday where they attended to business and visited with Mrs. Dorothy Moon. Wedding Bells Ring For Miss Ruby Wecfe And Carl Smithson ALTONAH (Special) Wedding bells were in the offing Saturday April 7, when Miss Ruby Weeks, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Weeks and Carl Smithson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Smith-so- n of Ne'ola, exchanged wedding vows in an impressive candlelight ceremony held at the home of the brides parents in Altonah. E. L. Murphy of Upalco officiated. The bride was lovely in a white satin and net ballerina length gown with an 'overall duster of lace. Her fingertip veil was caught to a wreath tiara of white carnations and pink roses. She carried a bridal bouquet of white carnations and pink roses. Attending the' bride as maid of honor was Miss Jenette Smithson, sister of the groom, who wore a ballerina taffeta blue brocade length dress, complemented with a corsage of white carnations. Bridesmaid was Miss Florence Weeks, sister of the bride. She wore a ballerina lentgh gown of pink nylon with a corsage of white carnations. Little Margie Weeks, Sylvia Weeks and Diana Morten-se- n attired i n blue, pink and brown and white nylon dresses were the flower girls and carried bouquets of white carnations. Mother of the bride was attired in a blue flowered nylon jersey gown and the grooms mother chose a pink nylon afternoon dress. Both wore carnation corsemi-form- al sages. Garth Horrocks performed best man duties. James Weeks and of the Floyd Weeks, brothers bride, were witnesses. A beautiful three-tie- r wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and bridegroom centered the reception table. Strawberry Frosted Angel Food Cake 1 pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed and drained 1 tbs. unflavored gelatin (1 envelope) y2 pint whipping cream, whipped and sweetened Soften gelatin jn juice drained from berries. Dissolve over boiling water. Allow to cool but not set. Fold Mrs. Garda Seeley with berries into whipped and sweetened cream. Cut angel food cake into two layers. Spread with mixture.
