Show Wedding Dance Honors The Marvin Ottosens TABIONA Mrs. Thelma D. Nye Enthusiasm Is 4-- H Needed To Make Good Show Club News BEEF AND DAIRY CATTLE Kenneth Carlile, leader of the Beef and Dairy Club reports ten boys are working on a project, with nine carrying on a dairy activity and one boy raising a beef project. Two meetings have been held, the first one being at Mr. Carliles home and the second meeting at the home of Merrill and Reed Turnbow. The following officers were chosen: Merrill Turnbow, president; Larry Brown, Lonny Carlile, secretary, and Dennis Jones, reporter. (Dennis has been visiting in Salt Lake City, which is the reason we have not had his report). Other members of the club are: Roland Roberts, Colin Hamilton, Reed Turnbow, Farrell Young, Lynn Turnbow and Duane Rhoades. SNIP. SNAP AND SEW The Snip- - Snap and Sew Club held their Monday meeting at the home of Mary Lewis, with the following present: Sherry Wagstaff, Mavis Barger, Nancy Young, Linda Thomas, Karma Van Tassell, Mary Lewis, with Lila Nye, of Clearfield, present at a visitor, and the club leaders, Mrs. Evelyn Jones and Miss LaRena Nye, directing activities. The club varnished and cleaned around the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers marker near Tabiona as a special public service project. They will plant peren-ia- l flowers around the marker as a climax to their project. The invitation to participate in the Days of 47 Parade in Salt Lake City is not extended to every band in the state, and Tabiona should be honored to be among' the chosen bands, even though they represent the smallest high school in the state has , . . And past experience shown the band members really need the heat of the day marching practice to help them develop a resistance to the heat they know they will have to ene hike dure during the in Salt Lake City. This year, Tabiona has their beautiful new uniforms, they al. so have plenty of ability, and should have plenty of incentive the missing . . . and whatever ingredient is. We would like to see the Tabiona band make the fine showing they always do at a public appearance, and w& would like to see them get started at it before it is too late. - four-mil- 4-- H t; 4-- PURCHASE BUSINESS and Mrs. Loran Berger are the new owners and operators of one of the mercantile establishments in Tabiona. They purchased the holdings of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lisonbee, who have moved to Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Barger have a daughter, Mavis, who will be another girl in the Tabiona High Schools All Girls Junior class next year. We would like to welcome the Barger family and wish them success in their business.
