Show BEAUTIFUL CONCERT GIVEN BY DUCHESNE SCHOOL CHILDREN F-- One of the most pleasing programs ever given in Duchesne was the band concert given by the Duchesne school bands last Thursday evening. There really were three bands, the Juniors the little Tooters and the Senior band. Mr. LEyd M. Beckstead is in charge of this work in Duchesne and ne, and all the teachers who had a part in tins program can. be proud of their accomplishment and the fine showing that the childrun made. The program itself was good, and the traning shovn by the children, and t.ie order and ease which it was rendered left ail present with a happy feeling uiat made them realize we were getting our moneys worth in worth while training for our Witn It is quite certain that when anot.ier concert is given there will be a larger attendance than was at this or.e, and the band mothers will be more successful and more diligent in their efforts to prov.de uniforms wow that they can have such a fine demonstration of what the band really is doing for the children. Tabicna Completes Xmas Plans With Church Council By Mrs. Thelma Nye Christmas plans are completed for .the Tabiona ward celebration. Bishop Burnell Turn-boannounces that Tabiona will cooperate with the Coordinating council consisting of representatives of the Hanna ward, Tabiona ward and the Tabiona school. Each ward will hold a Christmas eve party for children in their own ward Saturday evening. Santa Claus will make his annual visit with candy and nuts for the little ones. On Monday, December 26, the b i g Christmas dance will be held in the Tabiona high school gymnasium. It is requested that each family in both wards donate fifty cents to help pay the expenses of the Christmas parties. The following assignments have been made in the Tabiona ward: The YMMIA and YWMIA will obtain and decorate a ll ward Christmas tree; Earl and Mrs. Edna Smith are the officers in charge. The Primary association, under the 'direction' of Mrs. Dot Ottosen, will present the program Christmas Eve. The Sunday school, under the direction of Leo Turnbow, will present a special Christmas morning program. Since Santa Claus is badly in need of a new suit of clothes, the Relief Society was assigned the task of obtaining a proper, outfit for him.
