Show Friday, October UINTAH BASIN RECORD, DUCHESNE, UTAH MBS. THELMA NYE Corporal Jay L. Buddy Maxwell Is spending a furlough ' at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Maxwell. Corporal Maxwell is in the army air force and has been stationed in Florida. His mother is still convalescing at home after her recent serious illness and it is pleasing that he can be home with her at this time. Mr. and Mrs. Vem Wagstaff, of Burbank, California, are spending a few days visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wagstaff and renewing acquaintances with old friends. Mr. and Mrs. Wagstaff have also been visiting with other relatives in Ogden and other parts of the the week. Mr. and Mrs. Humes purchased furniture for their new home and are now living in the place. Mrs. Ivy Spencer had the misfortune to seriously sprain her ankle while attending teachers convention in Salt Lake City last week end, but fortunately is able to continue her school work. William Wadley was a business visitor in Heber one day during the week.
