The honored guest received many nice gifts. Olaus Johnson and Bishop Edward daughter accompanied Tillack to Heber Monday. The Tabiona elementary school children presented an interesting program in the high school gymAfnasium Monday afternoon. ter the program a posture parade by the fourth, fifth and sixth grade girls was enjoyed. This was followed by races and ball games. A full afternoon of wholesome entertainment was enjoyed by the many parents present. Ice cream was served. Mr and Mrs. Lloyd Roberts and Dixie, and Mrs. Florence Roberts made a business trip to Salt Lake City Thursday. .They returned home the Same evening. Mr. and Mr3, Leo S. Defa motored to Heber Saturday. Vance Millard left Monday for Salt Lake City where he has business activities that will require a stay of two weeks. Mrs. Jean Fabrizio and Inez Hardman were visiting Mrs. Thelma Hardman and new baby Monday. Mrs. Marjorie. Sweat and Miss Velma Allred have, been employ-- , ed at the Fabrizio cafe this week. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gilbert and son visited in Duchesne, Sunday. , Wanless Shields made a business trip to Salt Lake, Sunday. The Primary officers held their monthly meeting at the church Sunday evening with 9 officers present. Shields Rulon Gilbert, son of Mr. and Thomas M. Gilbert, who has been confined to his bed for the past two weeks, is reported to be improving. Mr. and Mrs. John Zirker were called to Logan Wednesday of last week to be with their daughter, Bonnie, who underwent an emergency appendicitis operation. Mr. Zirker returned Friday, and Mrs. Zirker remained for a longer visit. The following girls were graduated from the Roosevelt Seminary on May 9: Naomi Gilbert, Betty ' Lee Holgate, Sy villa Johnson. Under the supervision of their leader, Mrs. Nona Holgate, the Beehive girls gathered at the church grounds last Saturday and did a very good job of planting shrubbery and flowers and beautifying the grounds. Frank Holgate, Wayne and Lamar Capson did a good job of repairing the fences around the church grounds. The following Beehive girls and mothers attended the Stake Beehive Swarm at Duchesne on Saturday afternoon: Mrs. Nona Holgate and Joan and Cleo, Mrs. Fern Zirker and Marylin, Mrs. Helen Smith and Claudine, Mrs. Melba Larsen and Norma, Mrs. Vera Larsen and Pauline, Mrs. Elsie Bird and Delaine and Mildred, Mrs. Merle Ross and Mer-ly- n and Dcfnna, Mrs. Rose Gilbert and Ellen, Flora Thompson and Veda Smuin. The L. D. S. girls, under the leadership of President Ida Dean Horrocks, presented the program in Sacrament meeting Sunday afternoon.
