CBS Dalgleish Willis Zirker came from San Diego, Calif, to attend the funeral of his brother, George Zirker, and to be with his mother during her bereavement. Mrs. Zirker has been receiving medical attention in Salt Lake City, but was sufficiently recovered to accompany other members of the family from Salt Lake, Saturday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Morrill returned last week from a trip to Lima, Ohio, bringing a school bus purchased by the Duchesne County School District. Mr. and Mrs. Orin Wilson and baby, of Grantsville, Utah, are visiting Mrs. Wilsons mother, Mrs. Ray Thompson. Fritz Schleinitz, who has been receiving medical attention in Salt Lake City, returned to Friday, to spend the winter. Mrs. Loyal Perry came from Salt Lake City to accompany her husband and a party of friends on a deer hunting trip. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson enjoyed a visit from their sons, Bill and Max Robinson, and Dan Ellis, who came from Salt Lake City to join Mr. Robinson on a weekend deer hunt. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lou Milner, Saturday, were Mrs. Agnes Dauwalder and son, Dutler, and her mother, Mrs. Beavers, of Provo, who were to Craig, Colorado to visit relatives. They are former residents of Myton. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish enjoyed a short visit from Mr. and Mrs. Orrison Flatburg, of Provo, Saturday, as they were enroute to Denver, Colorado. Mrs. Flatburg was formerly Miss Catherine Dalgleish and is Mr. Dalgleishs niece. Mr. and Mrs. II. J. Wallace came from Meeker, Colorado last week to visit with Mrs. Wallaces parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lou Milner. Mr. Wallace returned home, accompanied by his Mrs. Olive Salter, who will spend a short time at Meeker, while Mrs. Wallace remains here to assist in the care of her father, who has been ill for some time. A daughter was born Saturday, Oct. 18 to Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Lisonbee, at the Roosevelt hospital. Announcement has been received of the arrival of a son, born to Mr. and Mrs. J. Keith Rigby, Jr., at Salt Lake City, October 10. Mrs. Rigby was formerly Ruth Marie Krebs. Norman Tanner was honored on his 13th birthday anniversary when his sister, Arva Marie, entertained at a supper party for him. 17 guests enjoyed outdoor games around a bonfire and delicious refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Meranda came from American Fork to spend the weekend at their ranch home near Myton. They were accompanied by their sons, Stephen Meranda S. 2C., who is on leave from .the U. S. Navy; and Tom and Jack. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleisl were dinner guests at the home of Mrs. Dalgleishs parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart, in Duchesne, Sunday. Some of them take me over the coals for what I say like the column I ran on planting alfalfa. Others write, I liked your column yesterday, but..., All of them have different points of view. From where I sit, thats the way it should be. Everybodys entitled to sn opinion and its those very differences, and friendly criticism, that make for tolerance and better understanding whether its Ideas on planting alfalfa or choosing between beer and cider. The more folks air their differences right out in public, with a neighborly respect for the other persons liberties and point of view, the closer we are to the American principle of individual freedom whether its in a choice of crops or beverages.
