Mrs. Melvin Bird left Monday for San Diego, California, where she will join her husband, who is attending a radio school there. The cellar at the home of H. T. Richens caught fire Wednesday night and all his fruit and provisions were burned. F. M. Ross, of Salt Lake City, is a guest at the home of his son and daughter-in-law- , Bishop and Mrs. Marion Ross. Frank Holgate, Vernal Nielsen, Glen Gilbert, Francis Ross and John Zirker were in Salt Lake and Wendover last week. Mrs. Barbara Gilbert has been working at the Roosevelt State Bank for the past two weeks. Burt Fairbanks is moving in to the old Myers house. Leonald Crane, F.F. A., teacher at Roosevelt High, visited Ag boys here Friday and Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Shields are spending part of the summer with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion G. Shields. Ronald and Marilyn Zirker are visiting in Logan with Shirley Zirker and Mr. and Mrs. Ken- of her mother, Mrs. Mary Sabin Gough, who died Monday. Lyman Burdick and Mr. and Mrs. Max Burdick left Thursday to attend the funeral services. They returned home Friday. Mrs. Burdick remained in Payson. Hosea Lisonbee and Mrs. Mary Lisonbee visited in Naples, Tuesday and Wednesday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Young, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Young and Mr. and Mrs. L. Young, of Pleasant Grove, visited. Sunday, with Mr. and Mrs James Powell. Mrs. Hamilton, of Washington, is here visiting her daughter, Mrs. Lydia Hancock, and other relatives. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton visited relatives at Gusher. The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Long, of Roosevelt, died May 23 enroute to Salt Lake. The child was born May 16th. Thompson Violet Gentry Mrs. Bertha Angus Mrs. Max Hartman Cause of the death was unknown. It is survived by its parents and one brother. Funeral services were conducted in the Bluebell chapel, Monday, at 1 p. m with burial in the Bluebell cemetery. Claud Mathews received word Thursday of the death of his brother, Clem Mathews, of Wyoming. Funeral services and burial were at Upalco.
