Jr., Robert and Lloyd,Marvin. and daughter, Russie, 'all oTouray; and one brother, W. E. Broome, of Myton. Three of his sons served in the armed forces during World War II. Funeral services were conducted in Vernal, Tuesday, May o, with interment in the Vernal cemetery. Lewis Young brought his wife and infant son home Tuesday evening from the Roosevelt hospital, where the baby was born, April 20th. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lott, Sr. and Charles Lott, Jr. came from Greeley, Colorado, Thursday, to be present at the funeral of Mr. Lotts brother, Bliss V. Lott. I Mrs. Kenneth Tinsley and small son arrived Tuesday, from Los Angeles, Calif., called here by the death of her father, Bliss V. Lott. They will remain for some time with Mrs. Lott. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Dennis, of Provo, have been visiting during the past week at the homes of their sons, Wallace Dennis, Syerl Dennis and LaVor Dennis, and with their daughter, Mrs. Devon Gentry. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Morrison, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart, Mr. and Mrs. Titus Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Munz, of Duchesne, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Sweat-maof Vernal, former Duchesne residents, were in Myton, Friday, to attend the funeral services for Bliss V. Lott. Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Dart and Alva Dart came from Price, Friday, to be present at the Bliss V. Lott funeral. They visited at the O. A. Dart ranch while here. Willis Dart returned home with them, Friday evening, to spend the weekend in Price and to enjoy the band concert held ther Saturday. Mrs. Warren Odekirk and daughter spent a few days with her mother, Mrs. John Zirker, Sr. They were called here by the serious illness of Mr. Zirker, who is confined to the Roosevelt hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Smith their daughter, accompanied Gladys, to Vernal, Saturday, where the young Miss sang in a broadcast from Station KJAM. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson, Sunday, were Mrs. Bliss Lott, Mrs. Kenneth Tinsley and Miss Alice Todd. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Tolboe enjoyed a weekend visit from their son, A. C. Tolboe, who is attending the B.Y.U. at Provo. The Myton Baseball team defeated Duchesne in a practice game, Sunday, at Duchesne, with a score of 27 to 20. A large crowd of baseball fans accompanied the team to Duchesne, to cheer them on to victory. 'The first game of the season was scheduled for Sunday, May 11 with the Vernal team, but according to the lat- - Frilaj-- Clark Edward Tillack made a business trip to Roosevelt Wednesday of last week. John Giles is spending a few days at Charleston and Provo, visiting with his brothers, Roy and Draper Giles. Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Collett Marjorie were in Duchesne Sunday ing after business matters. look- Frank Clark, Elona Clark and daughter, Glenda, were in Duchesne last Saturday. The Tenth and Eleventh grades of Tabiona high school held a party up, on North Fork last Friday night. Maxwell visited Mrs. Jessie last Sunday at Bridgeland. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Michie, of Salt Lata City, will spend the summer with Mr. and Mrs. Mar-vi- e Michie. The Seniors of Tabiona high school took a trip to Salt Lake City last Friday and Saturday, returned home Sunday evening. Cars were furnished by Billy Neil Angie Fabrizio, Lewis, Lewis and Mrs. Rose Fabrizio A most enjoyable time was had by all. A large crowd from Tabiona Blossom attended the opera. Time, at Duchesne Saturday afternoon and evening. Ted Nye, Jr., who had been at Heber for a week receiving medical attention, has returned to his home in Tabiona. Lamar Johnson came home and spent the week end with his family in Tabiona. Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Lazenby and children have moved back to their farm for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Christison and est information, the Vernal team has dropped out of the league, so no game will be played here on that date. Fritz Schleinitz, who has spent the winter months in Myton, returned Wednesday, to Deep Creek, where he is employed at the Smith ranch. Mrs. Ethel Baril returned home Wednesday from Ogden, where she has been visiting during the past few weeks. ThursLaVor Dennis returned day to his work in St. George, after spending a few days with his wife and daughters. Vern Brummett returned home Wednesday, after spending the past few months at Montaque, California. Parent-Teacher- Mrs. Ethel Beeb Joyce Reay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Reay, underwent a tonsilectomy at the Roosevelt hospital Monday. Word has been received of the birth of a baby boy, April 20, to Mr. and Mrs. Bud Besst, of Cascade Locks, Oregon. Mrs. Bessts mother, Mrs. W. A. is with her daughter. Max-fiel- l KinUf-z- d, Mrs. R. W. Snyder received word of the death of her brother, Frank Hill of Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Snyder and Mrs. Gerald Jacobsen went out to attend the funeral services held in Provo. The Beehive class in Mutual gave a Swarm party in the ward hall Monday night. There were nine Beehive girls, Miss Nada Maxfield, their teacher, and a few parents present. Fay Prows, who is employed in Salt Lake, spent the weekend with home folks. Mrs. Prows, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Clark, Mrs. Dora Bird, Miss Reta Bennon and Billy Anderson accompanied him to Salt Lake Sunday afternoon. Randel Wardle broke his collar bone Wednesday when a car on which he was working slipped off the jack Harold Fowler went to Salt Lake Saturday to be with his wife who is to undergo an operation Monday at St. Marks hospital. Glen Mohlman and son. Grant, went to Boise during the week to move his brother, Farrell, to Altonah. Those attending the marriage ceremony of Dewey Jessen and Norma Call at Duchesn Saturday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jessen. Mr. and Mrs. Tuff Reay, Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Perkins, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fisher and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunsmore.. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Shiner went to Salt Lake last weekend to visit their daughter, Mrs. Ruby Fowler, who is very ill. Claude S. Murray and Nada Maxfield were married in the L. D. S. Temple in Salt Lake, Thursday, May 1. Those present at the ceremony were J, B. Murray, Mr. and Mrs. Linford Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Murray, of Myton, and Mrs. A. E. Powell, of Farmington.
