The guests present as Tomorrow UTAH & and Mr. ' Memoral Day During the past week we celebrated Memorial Day throughout the United States. It is a very fine custom we have, to set aside one day in the year to remember our dead, especially now that so many brave men have recently died in the defense of our nation, and that Nazi and Jap dictatorship may not prevail in the earth. However, while we pause to remember our dead we should also pause to consider ways of bringing about world conditions which would bring more of an asurance that the wars which have brought sorrow and death to so many may cease. Many people do not think that it is possible for the nations to have peace, but the fact that the nations have sent delegates to a meeting which is being held in San Francisco to plan for world agreement gives hope for the future. So as our thoughts go out to our dead at this time of the year, let our prayers also go out with sincerity to our God that the conference in San Francisco may make real forward steps on the way. toward world peace, and that great wisdom may be given to the delegates to assist them in bringing about a better understanding among the nations, that we may have a greater assurance of a peace which will render unnecessary the slaughter of men through which we are now passing.
