Dale will soon complete his four years of service and expects to be honorably discharged later this summer. Dale saw considerable sea duty, the Korean war and during has participated in considerable refugee evacuation operations with the Navy. Ted D. Nye telephoned his parents Wednesday evening to say good-bybefore leaving for Japan with the U. S. Navy Air Force. He flew to Hawaii, Thursday, where he will spend approximately six weeks in special training before continuing on to Japan. He expects to do considerable flying as an electronics technician (flight engineer), while overseas this time.
