A number of people from attended the Christmas parties at Altamont school, Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night, Dec. 22nd. 500 CLUB MEETS 500 The Club held a party Saturday night. Dec. 18 at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Dewey Jessen: 500 was the highlight of the evening and the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Herscel Iorg, Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Rust, and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen,' of Mt. Emmons; Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Rust, of Bluebell; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fieldsted, of Boneta; Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Perkins, Mr and Mrs. Leon Dump and the hosts. The high score for the ladies was won by Mrs. Dump and the high score for the men was won by New Mitchell. A delicious lunch was served. Homer Sylvers, of California, was a house guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jessen during the Christmas holidays. Dr. D. S. Dennis, veterinary inspector from Roosevelt, and his father, Mr. Dennis from South Myton Bench, were in Altonah 23 branding reactors for Dec. Bangs disease. Mrs. George Reay arrived Wednesday, Dec. 22, from Jaffrey, British Colimbia, Canada, to visit with her daughter, Mrs. Lee Jessen and son, Dean Reay and families. She came in from Salt Lake City with Mr. and Mrs. Reed Foote, who visited with Mrs. Footes brothers, Glen, Dallas and Clenty and their families. Tuesday night the MIA gave a Christmas party in the ward hall. A large crowd was in attendance and everyone had an enjoyable time. Glendon Maxfield, who is employed in Provo, came home Friday night to spend the Christmas holidays with his family.
