Completing her nine weeks training, she received her rank of A 3c and was transferred to Scott Air Force Base in Illinois, where she has been assigned to the radio technician department. These soil maps were made available to farmers at the time the farm plan was completed by the farmer and an SCS technician. Some of the outstanding practices done on the regular program include 150 acres of border irrigation on the Frank Liddell, Lowell Babcock and Alden White farms. Large diversion gates by Ashley Central Irrigation Company, Dry Gulch Irrigation Company, Murray Ditch Company and Sunshine Canal Company. Dick and Ned built a combination irrigation and shallow drain system on 480 acres. YOUTH KILLED BY GUN Word was received in Altonah Thursday, of the accidental shooting of Dean Timothy, son of Mr, and Mrs. Von Timothy, of Bonanza. Dean was shot through the abdomen with a 22 calibre rifle while hunting rabbits. He succumbed to his injuries Sunday in a Vernal hospital. The Timothys are former residents of Altonah. Mrs. Mary Carroll and Mrs. Vendetta Clark were in Duchesne on business, Monday. Glade Timothy made a business trip to Salt Lake City last week, returning home Monday.
