FARMER HOW MUCH WORK CAN A MAN DO As the farmers income goes backward, he has one of two things to do, either work harder or find another job to help Ernest C. Robins, of the Bank of Duchesne, made a trip to Helper the first of the week to meet his wife. Mr. and Mrs. Robins will reside in the Casper home. The young ladies of the Club gave a kitchen shower for Miss Maggie Hair at the home of Miss Thelma Billings. Many exquisite and beautiful gifts were presented the prospective bride, and a delicious luncheon was served. 8-- make ends meet. Now there is a feller I know out on North Myton Bench. A couple of years back he was farming his own place, which was a full time job. Last year he leased another place and had to work a little harder and a little longer. This spring, to help meet his needs in this farmers depression, he leased still another place. He is now farming all three places. Each is a job in itself. He does nearly all his work alone, without hiring additional labor. But more than that, he finds time to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Dry Gulch Irrigation Company, a Director of the Moon Lake Water Association, a Director of the Uintah Farmers Union Cooperative Association, is a memF. H. A. ber of a three-maBoard on loaning committee, and also works with the Boy Scouts as District Commissioner. This is the type of man that the Basin needs and should be proud of.
