Miss Robin Babcock returned to Clearfield Wednesday, after enjoying the Christmas holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Babcock. Mrs. Jame3 Dalgleish was a guest of Miss Emmy Lou Conway at a dessert bridge at Fort Duchesne Thursday afternoon. J. W. Hardman left Friday for Salt Lake City, where he will be wmter the during employed nonths. Miss Lois Herbert left last week for Hill Field, where she will make her home with relatives, while being employed there. Miss Edith Nell Preece returned last week from a short visit to Salt Lake City. Mr. Wilmer Murray and daughter La Vora returned to Layton and Salt Lake City Tuesday. They spent the Christmas vacation with Mrs. Murray and children. Mr. Murray is employed at Layton, while La Vora is attending school in Salt Lake. Mrs. S. A. Wells, who visited with her daughter Mrs. W. R. during the Christmas week, returned to Vernal Sun- Harris day. American and The Legion Auxiliary, Wm. Sands Post and Unit No. 5, conducted memorial services for Marion Richens at the Arcadia ward hall last Sunday afternoon. The members who attended were Commander and Mrs. L. P. Miss Ruth Marie Krebs and Miss Evelyn Krebs returned to Salt Lake City Sunday morning, after a holiday visit with their father and brother. Their brother David, who came with them, remained for a longer visit. Gale Tanner S c returned to his station in Virginia Saturday, 2-- after a short furlough spent with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Tanner. N. L. Peterson made a business trip to Vernal Tuesday. reMiss Beatrice Hawkins turned Monday from Sunnydale, where she spent the holidays with relatives. She was accompanied by her aunt, Mrs. B. H. Pierce of Mexico, who will visit here for a short time. Mrs. Rose Ingalsbe returned Saturday night from Beattie, with Kansas, where she her sons Tad and Dean. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ingalsbe had also accompanied her to Kansas, joining her at Craig, Colorado. Mrs. Emma Morgan of Grand Junction, Colorado was a guest of Mrs. Effie Betts during the holidays, returning Tuesday to Grand Junction. Miss Stella Hardinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hardinger of Roosevelt, became the bride of Acel Nielson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson of Myton Tuesday. The marriage ceremony was performed by Bishop Levi J. Anderton at Duchesne. The young couple expect to make their home in Myton. Eddie Stanton left Tuesday for his home in Salt Lake City, after visiting for several days with Lee Betts. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish were guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Velma Riggs and daughter, RaVae of Nevada, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Richens of Salt Lake City, Ervin Richens of Provo, Afton Richens of Myton, and Mrs. Thurlo Myton, Mr. Richens of Sunnyside, Mrs. Lucille Richens and daughter, Eva, Mr. Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff McKenna of Roosevelt.
