House Guests Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart had as guests last week Mrs. Jessie Cavan ough of Madison, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Eleanor La Bronte of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Cavanough visited relatives in Colorado and after leaving Duchesne Monday, visited in Salt Lake City for a short time. She will then go to Nevada and California and will attend the fair at San Francisco. Mrs. James of Myton spent Saturday with her parents and Mrs. spent the week end here. Visitor Honored Mrs. Arthur Orr of Riverton was guest of honor at a small party Saturday evening at the home of Mrs. Ernest Crocker. Guests included Mrs. Grant Murdock, Mrs. A. M. Murdock, Mrs. Jess Johnstun, Mrs. Ernest Schon-ioMrs. R. M. Pope, Mrs. Nellie Muir. Wednesday Club Mrs. Ed Hart was hostess to members and guests of the Wednesday club last week. The following ladies enjoyed the afternoon playing bridge: Mrs. O. A. Halstead, Mrs. George Kohl, Mrs. Allen Jones, Mrs. Ed Gee, Mrs. R. M. Pope, Mrs. Jess Johnstun, Mrs. Bodily, Mrs. Jessie Cavan-oug- h, Mrs. Edward Wilkins, Mrs. Blaine Foster and Mrs. Jack Skewes. High score prize was won by Mrs. Wilkins and honor prize by Mrs. Halstead. Roy A. Schonian, assisted by J. P. Madsen and Chester Lyman will endeavor to complete a list of those who will attend the meet and make reservations for them. The local club went on record as giving full support to the candidacy of Jess Hiatt of Heber City for the position of district Governor which will be voted on at the meeting in Vernal. Nomination of Officers Nomination of officers for the coming year will take place at the meeting of the club Wednesday, June 7, it was decided. Nominating was to have taken place at this meeting, but because of poor attendance and the fact that pro per notice had not been sent out ac s, it was decording to the cided to postpone action.
