Gentry and Mrs. Wm. Jensen entertained at the Gentry home on North Myton Bench Saturday afternoon. The following ladies enjoyed an afternoon ot ganus. followed by a delicious lunch, Mesdames J. T. Burke, Glen Draper, Francis Dauwalder, J. R. Tuttle, Lee Cooer, William Koehler, R. E. Waugh, Bliss Lott, Wm. Preece, Miss Anna Hunt and Mrs. Alfred Smithson of Detroit. The Friday Bridge Club met at the home of Mrs. Wiliiam Koehler with the following members and guests present: Mrs. Blis3 Lott, Mrs. R. E. Waugh, Mr. Lee Cooper, Mrs. Homer RoRbinson, Mrs. George Tingley Sr., Mrs. William Preece and Miss Anna Hunt. The first prize was awarded to Miss Hunt, while the travel prize went to Mrs. Waugh. Mrs. R. C. Walker entertained the Ladies Literary Club Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Dauwalder gave a review of Hunky by Williamson while Mrs. Stone read a few chapters of More Zest For Living. The following members were present: Mrs. Wm. Stone, Mrs. Lynn Stone, Mrs. Francis Dauwalder, Mrs. C. J Neal, Mrs Glen Draper, Mrs. Vernon Larsen and Mrs. James Dalgleish. Mss Viola Robinson returned Saturday from a short visit in Salt Lake City. Mrs. J. B. Blankenship of Salt Lake City is a guest at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Koehler. Mrs. Alfred Smithson of Detroit was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Murray and Mr. and Mrs. Francis Dauwalder for a few days last week. Mrs. Smithson will be remembered by many old friends, as Miss Lavema Jacobs. Mr. Tom Keel left Sunday for Salt Lake City after visiting with friends here for the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Tingley Sr. spent Sunday in Uintah Canyon. Miss Mary Tingley who has been visiting there with Mrs. Robert Davis returned Sunday evening with them. Mr. and Mrs. Evans J. Mr. and Mrs. John Pierson have moved to Duchesne, where they intend to make their future home Mrs. Eunice Brennick and children were guests of Mrs. Evelyn Birch Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs'. Melvin Broadhead and children were Duchesne visitors Wednesday. Herb Lang, who has been seriously ill with pneumonia is much improved at this writing. Keith Abplanalp of Consumers is spending a short time with his grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Abplanalp.
