The long table was spread in the private dining room at the club, and was decorated artistically in violets. The spring flowers were massed as a center decoration, and individual knots were at each place. Handsome candelabra were at either end of the board, and ferns and smilax added to the atistic effect. Those present to meet Mrs. McGillycuddy were Mesdames Babcock, Bird, Louise Smedley Smith, Miss Burke, Miss Dooly, Miss Sherman, Miss Noble, Miss McCornick and Miss Miller. jl was the hostess Tuesday afternoon at the second of a series of card parties.
