Some people, imagine that low or vulgar, tricks at a wedding are amusing when on the contrary they are most. annoying and in the worst possible taste. At a recent wedding in a home where there are enough dollars to procure, an education for all its members, the bridal party was annoyed to the extreme by unseemly horse play of others who were having fun with the bride and groom. Of course one had to laugh it off but of all the tiresome and offensive sights to a person who had been in the habit of seeing such events conducted with dignity this was the worst. Good wholesome fun at a wedding is all right if carried to a point where it does not bore or disgust an onlooker but horse play, jokes and attempts to a bride are not in place even in the most unlearned regions of society. A recent Salt Lake wedding caused quite a flutter in Provo. At a recital given some few weeks ago the well known soprano sang the old song with a terse passage, What are we waiting for, Oh my Heart? and it was a good chance for many of the audience to depart. A musician who comes to Salt Lake with the idea of storming societys citadel gets a terrible setback. ft ft The Reviewers club held its first meeting of the season Monday at the home of Mrs. David Evans, and an entertaining program was given.
