The cc- H remony was performed by Rev. Bcn- H jamin Yonng of the First Methodist H cburcli, and was witnessed by rcla- H tives and friends. The bride was at- H tended by her sister, Mrs. Alfred Pc- H tcrs as matron of honor, and Miss H Helena Critzcr as bridesmaid. How- H ard Ralcy of Denver, a brother to the H groom, was the best man, and Fred H L. Davis, a brother of the bride, gave H her away. At the reception which H followed the bride's mother was as- H sistcd in receiving by Mr. and Mrs. H Harrison, while in the dining room. H Miss Mary Maync, Miss Bess Crit- H zcr, Miss Ruby Moorchcad, Miss May H Moorchcad, Miss Lucy Hitch and H Mrs. Clarence Post served. Dr. and H Mrs. Ralcy will be at home for the H present with the bride's mother at H 420 East Third South street. Later H they will leave for an eastern trip. H H The marriage of Miss Beatrice H Whitcsidcs O'Connor and William B M. McCrca, took place at St. Paul's H church Wednesday evening. The H marriage service was read by Rev. C. H E. Perkins, and the bride was at- H tended by Mrs. Robert Glcndiuuiug H as matron of honor, and Miss Rose H Howard as bridesmaid. Rollin W. H Dole was the best man, and the usli- H crs were Karl Schcid and M. J. H Urines. The ceremony was witnessed H' by a large number of friends of the H parties, and later Mr. and Mrs. Mc- H Crca left for the northwest,' where H they will spend a muntli. H The bride is a well known society H belle and Mr. McCrca is a talented H young lawyer now holding the po- H sition of Assistant United States H district attorney. Mrs Charles II. Lashbrook entertained enter-tained Wednesday at luncheon at the Bransford, followed by a matinee party at the Orphcum. The hostess was assisted in entertaining by Mrs George Savage. The others present were Mrs. Glen Miller, Mrs. P. S Keogh, Miss Duke of Chicago, 'Miss I-ashbrook, Mrs. J. A'. Reeves, Mrs A. Fred Wcy, Mrs. A. Leonard Cas-tlcton, Cas-tlcton, Mrs. David Techcnor, Mrs. J. C. Dugan, Miss Ida Shchan, Mrs W. P. Cooper and Miss Tinsman. Mrs. W. L. Ellcrbcck and Miss Es-tellc Es-tellc Clinton entertained Wednesday at luncheon at the Country club in compliment to Miss Evelyn Daly. The decorations of the table were in the two colors chosen for Miss Daly's wedding pink and white The guests were Miss Eudora Daly, Mrs. Roy Brown, Miss Mercy Edwards, Ed-wards, Mrs. John C. Daly, Miss Mildred Mil-dred McMillan, Miss Bess McMillan Miss Lela Stingley, Miss Evon Town-send, Town-send, Mrs. Fred U. Leonard, Mrs Robert Wi. Glendinning, Miss Aura-nia Aura-nia Ellcrbcck, Miss Mcrcc Berkeley, Miss Judith Evans and Miss Beth Mc Cune. Mr. and Mrs. Windsor V. Rice and their small daughter and son, Isabel and Gordon, left Wednesday for the east. They will go direct to Granville, Gran-ville, O., where they will be guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Jones at their country home, Monomoy Place; as members of a large house party. After Af-ter a short stay there, the party with three automobiles will tour the Cumberland Cum-berland mountains and go by motor to New York. Leaving their automobiles, automo-biles, they will go by water to Montreal Mont-real and Quebec. Isabel and Gordon, with their governess, Miss Bishop, will remain in Granville for the summer sum-mer at Mbnomoy Place. The wedding of Miss Valeria Brin-ton Brin-ton to Professor Levi Edgar Young took place Wednesday in the Salt Lake temple. Later the young people were given a reception at the Briuton home in Brinton. Mr. and Mrs. Young will leave within a few weeks for a trirj to California, and they will be at home after September 1st, at Third, and P streets. Mrs. J. T. Treasure entertained Wednesday afternoon at 500, seven tables being played. Assisting the hostess were the Misses Helen and Rose Evans and Elsie McMillcn. Prizes were won by Mrs. W. W. Rivers, Riv-ers, Mrs. II. G. Williams and Mrs. Joseph Young. The marriage of Miss Florence Foulger and Joseph Walk took place Wednesday morning in tire Salt Lake temple, and was followed in the evening by a reception to about fifty friends at the home of the bride's mother on L street. The young people peo-ple left for a wedding trip, after which they will make their home in this city. Miss Sarah Ilcpworth and Robert Carthcy surprised their friends by going to Farmington Tuesday, where they were married. They left Thursday Thurs-day for a visit of six weeks to San Francisco. They will make their home in this city. Mrs. Herman E. Campbell entertained enter-tained about thirty of her friends on Tuesday at her home on East South Temple street, to meet Miss Rye Tuckficld, whose marriage will take place in the near future. Miss Elsie Dickcrt entertained at luncheon Wednesday Tor Miss Lucy Gaby. Green and white were the table decorations, and covers were laid for six. The marriage of Miss Daisy Marie Nelson to J. Leo Hafcn took place in the Salt Lake temple Wednesday at noon. Mr. and Mrs. Hafcn will be at honve after July 1st, at Provo, Utah. Miss Claire Ellcrbcck and MSss Mary Maync will entertain next Wednesday Wed-nesday at a luncheon for Miss Valentine Valen-tine Murphy. Mrs. Fred R. Sands cntcrttaiucd a party of young girls Wednesday at the Orphcum, followed by a high tea in honor of Miss Gertrude Reilly. Howard N. Dcskcy has left for Chicago Chi-cago and eastern cities on a vacation. Miss Etta Powers entertained I Thursday for Miss Gertrude Reilly, I whose marriage takes place next Monday. Ex-Mayor William Roylancc of "' Provo has been spending the past few days in the city. J. L. Moore, formerly of this city but now of Riverside, left Wednesday for his home. Mr. and Mrs. J. II.
