An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property on C street between Second and Third streets, in Sewer District No. 1, for the construction of a sewer. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah : Section 1. That the City Council does hereby levy, the tax ana provide for the assessment upon the property hereinafter described abutting on C. street between Second and Third streets, in Sewer Dis- trict No. 1. This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a sewer upon said portion of said street opposite the property hereinafter described to be especially affected and benefited by said improvement, it and is hereby adjudged, determined and established that the same will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby assessed 'at an equal aud uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon said portion of said street fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-fiv(25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is four hundred and sixty-tw- o (4(2.00; dollars, or 0 (0.70) dollars per front or linear foot, and the Treasurer is hereby authorized and empowered to assess in accordance with the provisions of this oidinance for the purpose herein mentioned, all of lots 2 and 1), block 1)1), and all of lots i and 4, block 40, Plat D, Salt Lake City Survey, as the same are shown upon the official plats of said City to a depth of twenty-fiv- e (25) feet back from said street.
