It occurred in tho course of nn evening spent at tho house of Mr. Alfred Rothschild, where a dinner was clven In honor of the imminent marriage of the Prince and Princess of Wnles. Tho King rose to propose the health of Madame Pattl, and told of the cities In which he had heard her sing. And then ho described describ-ed how Queen Alexandra had once held up "little Prince George," in whoso honor they were that night assembled, as-sembled, nnd bade him embrace her, so that in after life he might truthfully pay ho had "kissed the famous Madame Ma-dame Pattl."
