Prizes went to Edith Han sen, Alice Nye and Lena Hall. A delicious luncheon was served. Spending Friday and Satur day in Shelley, Ida., were Mr. and Mrs. Rex M. Jensen and sons. Michael and Richard. They visited with Mr. Jensen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Jensen. James G. Shumway returned home Friday after spending two weeks in Salt Lake City where he underwent heart surgery. He is reported to be progressing nicely. Guests at the Shumway home Monday were Mr. and Mrs. Walt Mackey of Rupert. Ida. Anna Anderson, Sandra Prappras joined Helen Hall of Ogden and Karen Stevens of Clearfield at the home of Lueen Christensen in Bountiful Saturday for a dinner party in compliment to Mrs. Christensen on her birthday anniversary. Following they all attended "Sound of Music" in Salt Lake City. Weekend guests at the Walter Burns home were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Coombs and family of Las Vegas. Mrs. Arlyn Wassom and famthe ily of Farmington spent weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Kidman and family. Mozelle Hess, Vera Wester-gar- d and Dona Bowctitt attended the college drama "Street Car Named Desire" at Logan Friday evening. . Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Wester-gar- d and son, Brent, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Westergard and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Thomas enjoyed a dinner party in Ogden Saturday evening in compliment to Nephi Westergard and Berths Thomas who were both observing birthday anniversaries. Later, they attended "Damn Yankees" at the Valley Music Hall at Salt Lake City. ATTEND GRADUATION Mr. and Mrs. J. J. White, Mrs. Don Hansen and Mrs. Olive Durfey attended graduation exercises held at Weber State College Saturday where a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. White, June Pinder was one of the graduates. Mrs. Pinder has completed a course in practical nursing and will now be employed at a hospital in Ogden. Mrs. King spent her girlhood in Garland and lived here with her husband for sometime after her marriage. She was (55 years of age and was the mother of eight sons and daughters, seven of whom are living. She also had 4t grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
