Show Tremonton. Utah The Leader Tnursday, August Barbara, Julie and Robin of Fort Collins, Colo., have arrived for a visit with Dr. Capen-er'- s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Capener and family. They will also visit with Mrs. parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Olson and other relatives in Ogden. The doctor and his family have lived at Fort Colto lins and are now going he Washington D. C, where will be employed by the government. Monday Mrs. Dorothy Capener accompanied by her daughters, Mrs. Mary Blackham Hunsaker and Mrs. Carolyn enjoyed a dinner party with two other daughters Dorothy and Pamela at Logan. Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Dean Capener, Dr. and Mrs William N. Capener and family, Capt. and Mrs. Kent Blackham and famand Mrs. Kenneth ily, Mr. Anderson, Pamela and Dorothy Capener enjoyed a family party at Logan Canyon. This is the first time the family had all been together for twelve years. Mrs. Henry Brown was an overnight guest at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carol Ward and family in Ogden Friday. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Bengt Jonnson and family accompanied her home. They remained and Mrs. Nephi Wester-gar- d and son. She is on the committee making plans for a 10 year class reunion at Bear JOSEPHINE P. NELSON Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine P. Nelson, 71, will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in Thatcher - Penrose Ward. Friends may call at Petersen Funeral Chapel in Brigham Taking Wednesday off to do some genealogy researching were Mrs. Martin Riser of East Garland and Mrs. Fred Grover of Tremonton. The two ladies did their searching in Burley and Oakley, Ida. City Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the Ward Relief Society room Friday from 10 a.m. until time for the service. Burial will be in Penrose Ceme- tery. Nelson was born Feb. in Thatcher, a daugh27, ter of Carl J. and Wilhelmina Peterson Petersen. She was married to Carl Nelson Dec. 23, 1914, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They made their home in Penrose. He died March 16, Mrs. NEAL REUNION HELD The John Neal family held a get together over the weekend at Tauphaus Park in Idaho Falls, Ida. There were 62 family members present. Nine of the 11 children of John Neal were present. They enjoyed a program, delicious dinner, and gathering genealogy. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. John Neal and the Chester Neal family visited at the Hollis Neal home in Idaho Falls. They then went on to Sugar City where they visited with June Newman. The Neals returned home Monday. Cowleyh Mr. and Mrs. Raymond N. Hansen and family of Tremonton returned home recently from a week's vacation trip to Montana. ROBERTS Funeral services for John J. Roberts, 88, father of Mrs. Rex Jensen, were conducted Wednesday last week at Hall Mortuary in Logan. Mr. Roberts died in an Ogden hospital July 25, after a long illness. He was born Jan. 27, 1877 in Paradise, Cache County, a son of John T. and Emily James Roberts. He was the first mail carrier in Logan. He was an active member of the LDS Church, and served a He married mission in Samo Catherine (Kate) Petersen Feb. 25, 1903 in the Logan Temple.
