Show Page 8, THE GARLAND TIMES, Dec. 11, 1975 LEADER-TH- E ISSU3S Jay Coos Scouts The School Issues Forum of Box To Receive Honor marking the reactivation Mack Hansen of Elwood was one of Box Elder County residents to re- cently receive the Silver Beaver award for service to scouting. The award was made recently at the Lake Bonneville council's 5Cth annual dinner meeting at Weber State College. A total of 14 scouters were honored. Hansen, who owns and operates in Tremonton, Mack's Family Drive-Iwas honored for 20 years of service to scouting. He is currently Explorer program Ad visor but has served as scoutmaster in Elwood and in Tnwnsend, Mont. He has been invoh ed in the cub scout program since it was started. Among other scouting activities, Hansen has served as activity chairman for the Golden Spike district and Explorer chairman in the Northern area. He was for two neighborhood commissioner years. In 1974 he received the districts' Award of Merit. He is active in the LDS church having held several positions. He and his wife. Colleen, have seven children. His mother, Elizabeth of Tremonton, was also recognized at the dinner on the occasion of her 80th birthday. Other Silver Beaver awards went to of area. n Mack Hansen ...Silver Beaver Vernon C. The county will rely heavily on about $270,000 in federal ' Revenue Sharing money to meet special costs during the year. That money is not budgeted in the general fund budget until it is actually used during the year. No one is sure yet, either, just how much Revenue Sharing money will be forthcomine. Keith Bolingbroke traveled to Salt Lake recently to attend the annual Utah State Beekeepers Convention. The Jay Cees once flourished in Tremonton and are credited with such accom-lishmenas organizing the volunteer fire department. Mel Foxley, a charter Jay Cee member will be a special guest at the banquet. Club members include: Glen Curtis, Terry Munns, Curtis Norr, Curtis Starr, Dan Bertsch, Leon Holland, Kevin Hansen, Bryce Archibald, W.
