The UTA is asking the county to subsidize bus transportation to Hill Air Force base and Thiokol. The cost would be approximately $25,000. Thiokol will apparently be approached about helping pay the cost. UTA official William D. Oswald told commissioners last week that if the subsidy isn't approved the bus service will be cancelled. The UTA has taken over routes from Box Elder county to HAFB and from Weber county to plant None of the routes run through Tremonton.
