Mrs. Garth Rasmussen and family of Vernal also visited at the Petersen home during the holidays. Bishop and Mrs. Donald Petersen entertained at a family home evening Thursday for members of the Donetta Petersen family. Sunday, the family gathered at Mrs. Petersen's home to exchange gifts. Spending the holidays with Mr. and. Mrs. Wendell Welling and family are Mr. and Mrs. Gordon (Connie) Watts and son. Brandon, of Livonia, Mich. Spending Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Don Thompson and family at Clarkston were Mr. and Mrs. Don Scott and family. Mr. and Mrs. LaVere Welling and family of Ogden spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Welling. WEDDING RECEPTION Mrs. Stan Hess, Mrs. Vern Hess and Mrs. Ora Hess attended a wedding reception el the Ivy House at Ogden Thursday in compliment to Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Hess. (Dennis is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hess). Friday Mrs. Stan Hess and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hess attended funeral services for Harwood Mrs. Hess' nephew, Thornton at Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hess who are visiting in this area from Oroville, Calif., were overnight guests at the home of Mrs. Stan Hess Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Wyna Hansen attended a Christmas "open house" at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Jarvis at Logan Sunday. Tuesday Mrs. Hansen entertained at a "no host" party at her home for the Tremonton Duplicate Club. Luncheon was served afterwhich Bridge was played. Prizes went to Mrs. Bill Weiler and Mrs. Charles Taylor. Christmas Eve dinner guests at the Hansen home were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Weiler and family of Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Marble and sons, Haws and Bruce, and Mrs. Alice Nye of Garland.
