Misses Larene Burton and Sylvia Burton of Salt Lake City spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Burton and Mr. and Mrs. Leland Burton and families. Mrs. Frank McDowell and daughter Jeanie of Salt Lake City spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Earl and family. The two ladies are sisters. Mrs. Earl and son Gerry accompanied them to their home at Salt Lake City Monday and spent the day visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Leavitt spent several days of last week at Monticello on business. Spending this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wynn Hansen are Mr. and Mrs. Bill Weiler (Bonnie Hansen) and two sons, Steven and Billy, of Salt Lake City. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Farnsworth the past week was Mrs. sister, Mrs. Effie Welling of Brigham. While here Mrs. Severson accompanied the Walkers to Salt Lake City. They also visited with Mrs. Severson's mother, Mrs. W. E. Potter at Farmington. Major and Mrs. Garth and family left Thursday for their home at San Francisco after spending the past two weeks visiting with Mrs. parents, Mr. and Mrs. Noble Petersen and family. They also spent some time with Major Rasmussen's parents at Vernal. Mrs. Maude Olsen and son Gary of Hyrum visited with Mrs. E. C. Mason last week. People have the chance to display their work so others can what they do with their time, and even more important is the opportunity to see old friends. One never knows whom they might run into.
