They were costumed alike In blue taffeta dresses with fitted bodice and bouffant skirts, and carried replicas of the brides bouquet. Small Daborah Glenn and Peggy Applonie dressed in white organdy were the flower girls. They carried small baskets of and laurel. The marriage ceremony was performed by Jesse Peterson, of Penrose. Best man for the groom was Rulon Paxman, of Salt Lake City. Loyal Glenn acted as usher. Following the wedding, which was witnessed by the immediate family and close friends, a reception was held in the recreation room of the chapel. The bridal party greeted their friends in front of an arch woven with asters and laurel, flanked on either side by palms. Mother of the bride, Mrs. Clare O. Gay, k afterwas lovely in a Mrs. noon dress with jacket. Rulon Paxman sat at the guest book. A beautiful four tiered wedding cake decorated in pink and white with wedding rings and love birds added to the effect of the reception room. The serving area was artistically arranged by Mrs. LeLand Crystal. Mrs. Nell Nesson, ,Mrs. Doren Nicholes, and Mrs. Luet-t- a Leak were in charge of the refreshments with the Misses Susan Waldron, Patty Baker, Annette Jackie Baker and Fronk serving. Ault met Mrs. Nola at the home of club Thompson where a new was organized. The following officers were Kathleen President, elected, Kerr; vice president, Kathy Ann Ellen Oyler; secretary, Mary Waldron; reporter, Annette Thompson; song leader, Gretel Foxley; committee chairman, Kathy Harding. Names for our club were sug gested and the final voting made "The Kooking Kettles", our new name. Mrs. Thompson explained the duties of each officer. Mrs. Ault explained record keeping, following which we each made our own recipe holder. We made our summer sched ule for meeting places and assignments for next week's cooking needs were given to Kathy Harding. A "show me ' demonstration on dish pan safety was given by Mrs. Thompson. ROBERT ROUNDY Jenele Bennett and Robert Roundy United in Early April Ceremony Miss Jenele Bennett, lovely" daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aarl Bennett of Tremonton, became the bride of Robert Roundy April 6. The couple was married in a 6:30 p.m. ceremony at the Tremonton First ward Relief Society room with Bishop Rosel Zundel of Fielding officiating. Members of the bride's family, and the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Burnell Roundy and others of his family were present for the wedding. A reception honored the young couple later the same evening in the ward hall. To greet their friends the newlyweds stood before an archway of pink and white geraniums, with a large basket of white stocks at each side. The bride wore a floor length gown of white satin with a moulded bodice of lace over satin, sweetheart neckline and long pointed sleeves. The bouffant skirt had three tulle ruffles and overskirt of matching lace. Her veil of illusion was caught to a band of encrusted pearls and irredescent squins. She carried a white orchid bouquet encircled by pink roses and split white carnations. Attending her were her sister, Mrs. Renee Le Fevre as matron of honor, another sister, Mrs. Karen Anderson, Mrs. La Rae Hyatt and Miss Peggy Theurer as attendants. Her nieces Cindy and Cheri Bennett were flower girls. They all wore identical gowns of green and gold crystaline and carried contrasting flowers. Paul Forsberg performed the duties of best man for the groom. A beatiful three tier wedding cake made by the groom's mother was center of decorations at the serving end of the hall, where small tables were attractively decorated with pink and white sweetpeas. The serving of refreshments was handled by Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Castleton and Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Hupp assisted by Helen Sandall, Eva Turner, Jolonc Cutler, Janae Stanquist, Brenda Heaton and Dcanna Deakin. Guests were registered by Mrs. Robert Bennett and gifts were handled by Mrs. Val Doe Bennett, Mrs. Jay Lynn Bennett, and Mrs. Mary Ann Nelson Paul Forsborg. Roger and Jean-inRoundy carried the gifts. The trousseau of the bride was attractively displayed during the reception. The couple are now at home in Mt. Home, Idaho, where Mr. Roundy is stationed with the U. S. Air Force. e LOCAL COUPLE SPEND WINTER IN EAST a Mr. and Mrs. Jake Ashcraft have returned to their home in Tremonton, after a five months trip to various parts of the United States. left Tremonton in They November, spent Thanksgiving in Omaha, and stayed there until after Christmas. They then went on to Buffalo, N.Y., and Washington, D. C. They spent most of the time with members of their family at the various cities in which they visited, and returned home last week. Bear River City By Andrea Huggins KITCHEN QUEEN The Kitchen Queens of East second Tremonton held their meeting of the year at Helen Chournos's home. The next meeting will be held Easter Party Draws Crowd Nearly two hundred children enjoyed the Easter dance and picnic at the recreation hall Friday evening. It was a thrilling sight to look over the hall and see the various colored dresses and bright shirts of the little boys as they sat on the floor with their Easter baskets and enjoyed their lunch. The Easter childrens dance is a traditional event in Bear River and children come from far and near to enjoy the event.
