Show Social and Club News Reception Will Honor Jimmy Burgess And Bride is made by Announcement Mr. and Mrs. Steed Estep of Plymouth of the marriage of their daughter, Lawana, to Jim-mi- e D. Burgess, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe G. Burgess of Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Glen A. Carlson and daughter, Shauna, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Frandsen. An informal reception will be held Saturday, March 16 at the home of the bride's parents in Garland. Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend. The bride is a graduate of Bear River high school, and has been employed in Salt Lake City. The young couple will make their home in Salt Lake City, where the groom is presently employed. The marriage took place Feb. at Tia Juana, Mexico. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Price accompanied the couple to Mexico for the wedding. The bride and groom are former students at Bear River Midland Camp high school. A reception is being planned to honor the couple. He hopes to continue with his college training. their Sons of Pioneers Set Special Meeting The Golden Spike Chapter, Sons of Utah Pioneers will meet Monday night at the Garland Cafe to hear the national president, Horace Sorensen' speak. The meeting is known as "Presidents Night".
