Show EAST GARLAND By Mrs. Eph Peterson Club Members Honored The Birthday Club met Thursday at the Louise Harper home to celebrate her and Dora Shaf fer's birthday anniversaries. Lottie Potter presented 'Mrs, Harper with the gift and Ellen Rhodes presented the gift to Mrs. Shaffer. The afternoon was spent playing games with prizes. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Potter and Naomi Oyler. The Riverside Birthday Club were at Mrs. Harper's home Wednesday. The afternoon was spent socially and pot luck lunch was served. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Larson were Salt Lake City visitors Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Holman of Ogden were at the L. M. Holman home Sunday for dinner and the afternoon. Attend Idaho Funeral Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Ohristen-se- n attended funeral services for Fitch Cochran which were held in May, Ida., Saturday. Mr. Cochran is the husband of Mrs. Christensen's sister. Mrs. Rita Walker of Oakland, Calif., and Mrs. Agnes Stahler of Ogden visited two days with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Johnsen. Cliff Barker is spending several days in an Ogden hospital. The childrens dance held Monday evening in the ward recreation hall was a huge success. Ghosts, goblins and spooks were the order of the evening. Patrons of the Dance Club are reminded that the opening dance of the season will be held Saturday evening Nov. 3rd. The Relief Society invite everyone in the ward to attend meeting Sunday evening Nov. 4 for their conference. Mr. Returns To Hospital The many friends of Leon Strong will be sorry to learn that he has had to go back to the hospital in Salt Lake City.
